Kelci Hahn, soprano, is a SAG-AFTRA session singer, conductor and music industry professional based in the Los Angeles area. Hailed for her “stratospheric ease,“ “pure, killer tone,” and “ability to excel in a wide variety of styles,” she is a valuable asset to any performing ensemble. She currently sings as a frequent soloist and chorister with the Los Angeles Master Chorale under the artistic direction of Grant Gershon and the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Maestro Gustavo Dudamel. 

 

Not only is Kelci a frequent soloist and stage performer, she can be heard in over 100 film & tv scores, as a soloist, character vocalist and ensemble member. Some notable solos include ARCANE, Spiderhead, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Madam Secretary, Mickey Mouse Shorts, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, and the 2019 Emmys. Other recent ensemble credits include The Last Jedi, Frozen 2, Secret Life of Pets 2, and more. Kelci is also a frequent on-camera performer with recent credits including Call Me Kat, Truth be Told, American Horror Story, Fuller House, Mary + Jane, and more. Kelci made her Main Stage debut with the LA Phil, in the groundbreaking performance of Meredith Monk’s ATLAS under the direction of MacArthur Genius Grant Winner, Yuval Sharon, as the Spirit Guide. She can also be seen as the Soprano 1 soloist in Pulitzer Prize Winner, Ellen Reid's "The World as You've Known it Doesn't Exist," as a part of the LA Phil's Sound/Stage Virtual Series, conducted by Gustavo DudamelShe also performed as the Soprano Soloist in an LA Phil Centennial Commission composed by Ellen Reid, in her installation, Oscillations: 100 Years and Forever.  Kelci originated a principal role, MAKWA, in The Industry’s poignant and powerful new opera Sweet Land, composed by Du Yun and Raven Chacon. Kelci also performs frequently with the Los Angeles Opera in their Connects department as a principal performer in several operas, including The White Bird of Poston and the Wreck of the Miranda

 

Kelci is a credentialed music teacher and was the Choral Department Head at Hamilton High School, Visual and Performing Arts Magnet, directing award winning ensembles that have performed on the Ellen Show and The Academy Awards, performing with such names as Pharrell Williams, Carly Simon, Common, Natasha Bedingfield and more. She continues to teach as a Teaching Artist with the LA Master Chorale in the Voices Within Program and with LA Opera in their Connects department. 


Kelci is a native of sunny Santa Barbara where she began her musical career singing in many operas and musicals from childhood until she went on to UCLA to study Vocal Performance and Music Education.
